WBSワインブックススクールはオンライン最大級のワインスクールです。
単一クラスのみの運営で、一般会員様は300名を超え、ソムリエ試験、ワインエキスパート試験はもちろん、上級試験のエクセレンス試験やコンクール、ワイン業界への転職や独立開業をする方など、あらゆるフェーズの方に利用されています。
WBSとしては試験合格は単なる言葉であって、大事なのは試験に取り組んだ結果をどのように受け止めるか、どのような意味を与えるのかの方がよほど重要ととらえています。
そのためソムリエ試験、ワインエキスパート試験の合格率については積極的に公開してこなかった経緯がありました。
そのうえで、多くの方から「めやすでいいので大体の合格率を知りたい」という声があり、これにこたえる形でおおむね85％の合格率と公表をすることといたしました。
WBSは完全匿名でワインの学習ができ、かつ、WBS生の自主性を尊重するスタンスの為、合格率については完全に把握をすることができません。
そのため、わかりうる数値から合理的に、かつ、手堅く判断した数値を85％としております。
なお、ソムリエエクセレンスにつきましては、2023年度は全合格者のうち40％がWBS生という実績を残させていただきましたが、これは本試験の前日講習に参加したコアな受講生の数のみを参考にしています。
受講生そのものの実数値についてはこれよりも多いため、かなり手堅く判断した数値となっております。
合格率算出の方法について
ソムリエ試験、ワインエキスパート試験については、一次試験後と最終試験後にそれぞれアンケートを行っております。
2023年度は合計で102のアンケートがあり、このうち不合格は4件となっておりますので、96％の合格率となっております。
ただし、アンケートではどうしても合格者ほど申告しやすくなり、かつ、不合格者ほど申告しづらい心理的傾向が生じます。
そのため、アンケートで回答いただいた数値の倍を潜在的な不合格者とし、さらに手堅く判断して85％としております。
また、WBSは1か月のみでも参加は可能ですし、オンラインスクールで、かつ、月額2200円という性質の為、すべての生徒、すべてのアンケートを反映するのは逆にノイズも増えることになってしまいます。
アンケートについては直近1か月以降の入会、または3月からカウントしてログインが5回以下のユーザーについてはサンプルに参入しておりません。
